UPS and DHL Express: Domestic tables raised; DHL goes weekly
UPS raised Ground by up to 1.5 percentage points and Air by up to 2.5 percentage points. DHL Express moved from monthly to weekly fuel updates.
UPS raised Ground by up to 1.5 percentage points and Air by up to 2.5 percentage points. DHL Express moved from monthly to weekly fuel updates.
Both tables rise 0.5 percentage points at today’s fuel prices. The point where Ground switches to slow, $0.27 steps moves from $4.99 to $5.80 diesel, and Air from $3.01 to $3.56 jet fuel, so surcharges fall more slowly if fuel drops.
The fine-step range was extended lower without a rate-update notice, slowing the decline in the surcharge when diesel eases.
Every bracket of the U.S. Express table was reduced, one of the few downward table moves this year.
One unified table now applies both ways. Exports effectively rose about 3.5 percentage points; imports dipped slightly.
The coarse-step zone now starts at $4.99 diesel (was $3.55) and $3.01 jet fuel (was $2.06), so the surcharge stays higher for longer when fuel falls.
