FedEx: Ground and Express pivot prices raised

The coarse-step zone now starts at $4.99 diesel (was $3.55) and $3.01 jet fuel (was $2.06), so the surcharge stays higher for longer when fuel falls.

Other recent changes

  1. UPS: Ground, Ground Saver and Domestic Air tables reset

Both tables rise 0.5 percentage points at today’s fuel prices. The point where Ground switches to slow, $0.27 steps moves from $4.99 to $5.80 diesel, and Air from $3.01 to $3.56 jet fuel, so surcharges fall more slowly if fuel drops.

  2. UPS: Ground table bottom extended

The fine-step range was extended lower without a rate-update notice, slowing the decline in the surcharge when diesel eases.

  3. DHL Express: Jet fuel index table lowered

Every bracket of the U.S. Express table was reduced, one of the few downward table moves this year.

  4. FedEx: International export and import tables merged

One unified table now applies both ways. Exports effectively rose about 3.5 percentage points; imports dipped slightly.

  5. DHL eCommerce: Domestic per-pound table raised

At the diesel tier in effect then, the domestic charge nearly doubled, from $0.15 to $0.29 per pound.
